To save you both time and money, single or dual-radio Qcode installations will automatically mesh with neighboring nodes and MeshCams to establish a fully routed and secure network with instant open or authenticated customer laptop access- in many cases, no CPE is required!
Qcode is fully configurable as a point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, or routed mesh solution (or all three) so you can activate mesh only where it makes sense, not everywhere as some other mesh suppliers require. Qcode is one of the only mesh solutions that provides this kind of flexibility without forcing you to buy additional third-party equipment- it’s all built in.
Qcode supports the popular Atheros-based modular radios including the Ubiquity SR-2, SR-5, SR-900, Wistron CM9, and most Prism-based radios such as the Senao 2511mp and Zcomax XI-325HP, on all standard bands including 900 Mhz, 2.4 Ghz, 4.9 Ghz, and 5.1 to 5.8 Ghz. Power levels are adjustable within the constraints of applicable regulations and modular radio limitations.
Qcode also features extensive built-in functions such as captive portal, walled garden, radius and automac authentication, bandwidth shaping, VPN hosting and passthrough, firewalls, and payment portal hooks. For ease in installing wireless links, it features a web based interface that includes a real-time wireless signal-strength meter, bandwidth tests, and link-distance settings and allows the user to change any settings in real-time to make the desired nodes function accordingly.
This software has been designed to provide maximum uptime and system performance in a routed mesh and hotzone network environment. It has been tested and is certified to be used on pc-engines mini-ITX, Alix and WRAP boards. |
